Last Saturday, a friend pointed out a new shop and told me that they have good milkshakes. Since today was the warmest day so far this September (70F/20C), I decided it was a good day to try it out. The shop is Pink Milkshake on Vilnius Street and it is, well, pink. Really, really PINK. Okay, there is a lot of white, but that only serves to highlight the PINK. I did consider getting the cherry or strawberry milkshake just to stick with the theme, but the young man behind the counter recommended the chocolate cookie shake. It was not pink, but it was yummy.
The entrance advertises 0% alcohol, 100% taste – that’s because cafes and bars in Lithuania serve milkshake cocktails that are alcoholic. I have forgotten that fact in the past and been surprised to receive a milkshake with alcohol at 11 am.
